Laura E. Laughlin is an associate attorney at Freiwald Law, P.C. She has devoted her career to helping people who are severely injured. Mrs. Laughlin focuses her practice in the areas of medical malpractice, toxic exposure, products liability, sexual abuse, and other types of catastrophic injury cases.
Ms. Laughlin is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Florida. She is a graduate of Widener University School of Law where she received Certificates in Trial Advocacy and Criminal Law. While in law school, she was a Certified Legal Intern for the Chester County District Attorney’s Office and conducted hundreds of felony and misdemeanor preliminary hearings and summary bench trials. Upon graduation from law school, Ms. Laughlin was named Widener’s “Most Promising Civil Litigator.”
Ms. Laughlin serves as an Arbitrator with the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas. She is a member of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association, Philadelphia Bar Association, American Association for Justice, New Jersey Association for Justice, National Crime Victim Bar Association and the Brehon Law Society.
In her free time, Ms. Laughlin gives back to her community by serving on the Friends of the Bucks County Children’s Advocacy Center Committee, which interviews children who are victims of suspected child abuse in a child-friendly environment. She also volunteers as a Big Sister with Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Philadelphia.
